What we all have in common

This is a taste of the walk I took today on this beautiful day. Rapeseed fields like this cover Switzerland in the springtime and are a beautiful site. I had no idea there were such beautiful fields until I moved here and now I live in a town that’s covered from all sides with such wonders! Today is not only Earth Day, it is also Good Friday which means Sunday is Easter. It was an absolutely gorgeous day here today and all I wanted to do was sit on my balcony and read in the sunshine. I hope to spend my weekend soaking up all the beauty around me. This quote from Wendell Berry is so fitting for today. It’s really nice to get a little reminder like this every now and then to make our lives all feel closer and the world smaller. I hope each of you have a joyful weekend and Easter!

What a stunning image! I would love to walk through a field full of beautiful golden flowers like this. Have a marvelous weekend!

P.S. I love your blog layout. The flower bullets on your sidebar are fantastic!
