A world without bees is a world without humans

For my second One Green Planet article, I wrote about the plight of bees and how it will effect everyone and everything in this world. I’ve touched upon this subject before in a previous post of mine, but this article is much more elaborate and even I learned many things I didn’t know before when researching for it. I hope you will take some time to read it and let me know what you think! I was so pleased to find this bee photo in an old picture folder of mine. There’s just something about capturing a shot of a bee pollinating a flower. I hope it won’t become a rare occurrence. Just click the image above to check out my article.

Also, if you haven’t yet and you have either a Facebook or Twitter account, like/follow Four Leaf Clover to get links and other information I don’t always post about here on the site. There’s only so much I can feature, but I don’t want anyone to miss out!

Great article, Eva! I’ve been thinking a lot about the interaction between animals like bees and plants. There’s such a delicate relationship, and I don’t think people always really appreciate that.

My friend and I were just talking about this over tea yesterday! We both love bees… I am reading your article next!

Great article! It was very informative; there was a lot I didn’t know either! I really hope that we – as in humanity – can get our act together and fast, before there’s no turning back. There needs to be a lot more awareness about this.

There are so many examples of how even seemingly small things changing can have such an extraordinary impact on the ecosystem. Makes you really think about chaos theory and brings home the environmental message. Great article!
