To make its colors appear

This lovely rainbow caught me off guard a few days ago. Rainbows always deserve a photo, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a rainbow and didn’t take or at least have the urge to snap a photo of it (or multiple photos, to be completely honest). They’re so rare, beautiful, and always bring out smiles. There’s a saying I like very much that goes along the lines of “no matter what, the sun will always come out after a storm”. I’ve always loved it and today realized that you’re even luckier if you get the sun and a rainbow (or a double rainbow at that).

Like this quote by an unknown author, you need to deal with the good and the bad to get to the amazing in your life. The rare and spectacular moments. In that moment, everything becomes worth it and you see why certain things turned out the way they did to get you to that spot.

I’m really hoping for that rainbow moment sometime really soon and I think I’ve weathered (pun somewhat intended) through the rain and shine long enough to get to where I want to be in my life. Have you recently had a “rainbow moment”? Do you feel like it’s just a few raindrops away?

I love quotes like this that relate life to nature and really bring out clarity when there have been moments of fog. The song I Can See Clearly Now comes to mind. I hope that there are loads of rainbows in your future, both the ones you can see and moments like I’ve mentioned here. Maybe even this weekend!

..love the double rainbow song playing in my head and the somewhat-intended pun in your post πŸ™‚ But I’m really loving the term “rainbow moment” and will now use that for the lucky/ecstatic/grateful moments of my life. No one really talked about ups and downs when I was young so experiencing them on my own and learning about them was hard. I’ve come to understand the normality of it all. The ebb and tide. The rain and sun. And of course, rainbows.

Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Wow, I can’t believe you took this photo. It looks straight out of a magazine.
I really like that quote too. I don’t feel like I’ve had my rainbow moment but hopefully it will happen soon. πŸ™‚ It’s nice to remember that even rain has a purpose in our life though.

I love this photo and the quote! It is so true. I have definitely had some “rainbow moments” but haven’t really experienced any recently. Although, I’m hoping in the long run, some of the things that have fallen through (due to bad judgements on my part, etc…) will end up with a rainbow moment for me. Of course, everything does happen for a reason and it will eventually pay off in the end, its just a matter of staying positive, patient, and hopefully. If you hope for the best, then eventually it will come. But if you are always negative and aren’t expecting anything good, of course nothing good will come of it. So, always staying positive and making it through the bad times will always bring the good times. Thanks for this wonderful quote! It always makes me think when I read one of you Fotoquote Friday posts πŸ™‚
