Freebirds fly away, they just don’t stay

I found out about Lover Lover back in May thanks to Black Eiffel. I’ve yet to get tired of their song Freebirds (posted below). Lover Lover consists of London friends Eleanor Bodenham, Martin Craft (M. Craft), and producer Nick Littlemore.

Freebirds is one of those songs that I can’t get enough of. It feels too short and so I end up pressing the repeat button again and again. I always want to bust out in song, but unfortunately I’m usually on the bus when I get the urge to listen to this song and I’m not sure the others on the bus would be as enthusiastic as me. It’s a sad song that bursts with passion.

Just today when writing this post I discovered two more ear-pleasing songs of theirs on Myspace: All Through the Night and The Fire

The black and white video for Freebirds looks like a scene from a movie and is unlike any music video I’ve seen. To this day, I’m still trying to figure out why exactly this is what they chose to portray their first single, but I’m not complaining.

Eva, this is such a lovely song. I didn’t get to watch the whole video as I might be listening to it and commenting on your post while I’m working, but definitely a beautiful song. I’m off to listen to more of their music.

Hope you’re having a beautiful week!

Thanks for introducing me to this song, I love it! πŸ˜€ I’ve since listened to the acoustic and Steve Forte Rio remix versions on YouTube, but I think I like the original version the best. ^_^
Ooh, I’ll have to check out those other two songs of theirs, too! Probably on Youtube, though; Myspace probably still hates me, ha. ^^’

Aw, guess I’m gonna have to check Myspace after all; I can’t find the other two songs on YouTube. πŸ™
Oh well, maybe Myspace will cooperate with me for once. ^^’
