Decorate your desktop

I found these beautiful wallpapers thanks to tumblr. The actual wallpapers weren’t what I saw on tumblr, but tracking down the original source is what got the above picture on my desktop. I saw some very unique and pretty Christmas cards while browsing Viva Amore’s tumblr and, luckily, it wasn’t very hard to find the original poster. I was led to a blog which I’ve been to before, Creature Comforts. Creature Comforts directed me to the original source: CWC-International.

A few artists were asked to make holiday cards that could be printed and sent out – for free! Unfortunately, I found them too late to send, but by scrolling down the page, I found many lovely free wallpapers. I immediately made the above tree my wallpaper (it reminds me a bit of snow) and it looks beautiful. I knew I had to share this artwork with others so here you are! Just click on one of the pictures (click “Read more” to see a few more) and you’ll be able to see the gorgeous selection. I’m thinking I’ll be sorting through many of these wallpapers in the near future.

I love these wallpapers!! They are really cool looking. It looks like (to me anyway) that someone actually painted them and should be hung in an art show or art museum. I would have never guessed they were wallpaper designs for computers! So cool ๐Ÿ™‚

These are paintings. The artists were asked to make their paintings into wallpapers so that people could put them on their computers. Very cool, I agree! It’s going to be tough to change my wallpaper; I like this one too much!

Oh my gosh, these wallpapers are beautiful! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I love the ones of the trees with pink flowers.

I’m finding it hard to keep up my negative bias against tumblr these days; so many good things can be found there! It’s just not usually dial-up friendly, ha. ๐Ÿ˜›

Ah, yeah… I can see that. It even takes my computer a while to load up some of those pages. I guess it just depends whose tumblr you look at. It’s hard NOT to look at a page with so many beautiful things all in one place.
I’m thinking I might make the second to last photo my wallpaper soon. I need a bit more fairytale in my life, as do most people!

Yeah, the ones I’ve been to have mostly been filled with silly pictures and animated gif pics. (speaking of, the Harry Potter pic your friend Misty posted ended up on my facebook feed…lol! xD)
Ha, yeah, it would be hard for me not to look once I was there, too. (Well, unless the pics didn’t load. xP) A lot of tumblr pages are just ridiculously addictive overall. ๐Ÿ˜›
Aw, you should! That one’s perfect for you, I think. ๐Ÿ™‚
(whenever I see it, I think the horse is whistling, lol xD; )
We could all use a little fairytale in our lives once in a while, for sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

There are so many tumblr pages out there. I’m surprised I missed the wave, ha! I jumped on it a bit late, but I’m only a viewer… not an active participant. You should see my tumblr rss feed section, ha!
That Harry Potter photo made us laugh so much. I’m glad you were able to see it, too!
That wallpaper screams “Disney” to me and I mean that in the best way.

You’re right, these are beautiful. I love the collage aspect to the last couple.
