New year, new you: love now

I hope your new year has started off marvelously! Mine has really been something special and each day brings something new and exciting. Living in the moment makes such a huge positive difference, I wish I’d know this was the way to live from the start of my life. But no worries, I know now and am reaping the benefits. If anything, this is the biggest progress I’ve seen in myself since starting FLC over a year ago.

This year, for me (and hopefully for you, too… if it’s not already), will be the year of love. I recently read that we should approach everyone and everything with love and wondered why I hadn’t been doing this already. It reminded me of my respect post, but specifically with people.

Everyone deserves love and should be shown love. Love others, love yourself, love your life, love the world. Sooner than you know it, you’ll realize that the world has been shining its love on you all along, maybe you just haven’t been open to it.

How has your 2012 been so far? Do you live in the moment? Have you been for a long time? Do you know what the heck I’m talking about? Ha!

YES! Love will save the world! And I have the feeling more and more people are becoming aware of it. It’s beautiful to watch….

I’m glad to hear that the new year’s been good to you so far. :)

Mine…not so much.
Two of our horses died after Christmas, a week apart, one of whom was my favorite, Slewinca, and the other my mom’s favorite, our stallion Paco.
(As I’ve written about on my LJ)
I’ve been pretty down since then (mom and dad have been, too), but I guess you could say that living in the moment is what’s helped me get by so far. Kept me from dwelling on it too much, so I can keep going. Finding things to be happy about every day.

One good thing that’s happened, though, is that my mom and my aunt have reconciled, and currently have plans to spend Super Bowl Sunday at their house, like last time. Party~

I like your message about love. Love is such a beautiful, important thing.
(Though, I don’t think I’d want EVERY man to want me. Creeps and jerks begone! XD)

A beautiful post to start the new year, Eva. I think it’s wonderful you’re living in the moment. I try, but sometimes I get distracted, though I’ve become better and better about it. The trick for me is figuring how to live in the moment and plan for the future. Sounds paradoxical, no? If you have any tips, I’d love to know.

I have such a hard time of living in the moment!!! I’m always thinking about tomorrow, or what will happen if I do this, or do that, or anything!
But that’s always been like that, it’s nothing new! More reason to change it though!
Although I’m not sure what I’d do TO start living in the moment! Pay attention more? Some suggestions please!!
But I’m glad you’re living that way. And I do like what you said about living life with love. It’s good to live that way. I need to start doing that too!

That’s a really great goal. One of my goals is to take the time to enjoy the differences. We have so many ideas to experience new tastes and cultures this year! Can’t wait!
