My friend Lauren sent me an email for this campaign (thanks, Lauren!). The words in the image above say it all. Hard to believe. According to the video featured on their site, “that’s almost a million tonnes of edible fish every year – wasted”. If you click on the image or this link here, you can add your name to a letter that will be sent to Commissioner Maria Damanaki, Members of the European Parliament and all member state governments asking them to stop the unnecessary discarding of fish in the North Sea.
