Only 10 days left to make 10,000 trees into a film
Talk about an amazing story! 10 years ago, Victor Kaufmann decided that his land needed trees and decided to plant 10,000! This spring he will be planting his very last tree.
Fascinated by all things living, Victor finds it hard to imagine that human beings are ravenously plundering and trashing such a miraculous Earth to a degree that may soon leave it incapable of supporting life. In a letter to his granddaughter, he writes, βIf my small effort should move us a nanometer back from that end, I would be gratified.β
Sounds like a truly amazing individual. I’d love to see this project and I just might be able to! Victor is Sarah Berkovich’s grandfather. Now Sarah Berkovich and Sarah Ginsburg are doing all they can to raise awareness and bring their short film to light and you can help! There are only 10 more days left to spread the word and help raise enough money to make and share this film. You can go to their KickStarter page to find out more and help them out. They’re almost there; they have to raise $5,000 so that their film can be funded. These girls are so inspiring and I hope they can make their dream come true. This will be one magnificent forest!
You can also find 10,000 Trees on their blog, Facebook, and Twitter.

So inspiring! KickStarter really is a wonderful tool. When my hubby and I were on our honeymoon, we visited a museum with a living roof — one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Wouldn’t it be neat to have them everywhere?

What an inspiring project!! I wish I had a large field (and knew how to plant/grow trees). But I love everything about this idea! π
By the way, I just stumbled on your blog, and I adore your welcoming message π That’s precisely how I feel in my life too, and I’m so impassioned by so many things – I feel like I could totally relate! Such a fantastic blog you have here! π

What an amazing project. I think that if many of us would do something like that, the Earth would be such a better place. Thanks for sharing!
