Wolves belong on the Endangered Species List

I don’t think I’ve heard of any animal being involved in as much flip-flopping business as wolves. One minute they’re being brought back to help balance nature, then in another place there’s a high price for each wolf killed, they’re listed as endangered, and then they’re not. Because of recent budget cuts in the US, wolves in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah may be one of the main victims. If this bill is approved, it would lead to thousands of killed wolves. An article from the L.A. Times declares that:

“For the first time in history, Congress is removing a species … from the Endangered Species Act based on political, rather than biological, judgments,” the public interest law firm, Earthjustice, said in a statement.

For those who live in the United States, please take these actions to help put a stop to this:
Speak Out Against the Loss of Protections for Wolves
Tell Congress to Keep Its Hands Off Endangered Species

Wow, this is so sad! I can’t believe they are trying to kill off the wolves! Why would they do that???? What do they mean for “political not biological” reasons???? Thats just not fair! I really hope this doesn’t get passed!

Yikes, that’s where I live. How sad, wolves are such beautiful creatures.
I sent the e-mail, hopefully our small actions will make a difference.

Arrrg, few things make me madder than reading the line “Congress votes against science.” >| (Which was a line in one of the stories I read about this) What they’re doing with wolf protections is ridiculous. The U.S. government these days… *shakes head*
I sent the emails, and I signed this petition just tonight: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/510/521/869/
