A list of 38 life tips & lessons

Today I bring you a different type of life tip(s). I found this list of “38 Life Lessons I’ve Learned in 38 Years” thanks to Liz of Your Time Travels‘s Twitter. This is a post by Leo Babauta who writes the fantastic mnmlist blog and now I’ve found out he is also the writer behind Zen Habits. If you click on the image above it’ll take you directly to his post about the 38 life lessons he has learned and shared. It’s a bit long, but I promise it is definitely worth the read. I urge you to at least read the first few lessons before deciding it’s not worth your time. I was going to pick out a few, but really… it all needs to be read together, the way Leo has written it. It’s beautiful and I wish that I may learn some of the lessons he has learned and a few of my own by the time I’m 38. What are some life lessons you have learned so far?

Oh I’m so glad to see Leo featured here! Zen Habits is probably my very favorite blog (so much more than a blog, right?) and he is such an inspiration to me. Whenever I need to refocus or reaffirm my reason for living, I head there 😉

aaand after reading that back, “reason for living” was probably not the right word choice….you get my drift!

Those are some really good life tips! There were a few I wanted to question him on but overall, really great!! I’m only 22 and I feel that I have learned some many different life tips! It is quite amazing. One thing that he didn’t mention (which I think almost everyone should learn) is to not do something you don’t want to do. Don’t give into your peers, co-workers, family members, etc. if they want to do something and you don’t want to. If it doesn’t make you happy, you shouldn’t do it. You’ll regret it in the long run if you go along with everyone else.

I really liked these tips. This definitely gave me a lot of things to think about now. Thanks for the post and all the tips! I appreciate them a lot 🙂

You just opened a door for me, Eva. I’m going to have a look now. What perfect timing. I’m in total reflection mode lately!

One big lesson I’ve learned: you always must have confidence in yourself. If you believe in you, there’s no limit to where you’ll go.

I’m heading over now to read this. Thank you so much for posting about it!
