A vineyard walk

A few weekends ago I went to Blauburgunderland (have fun pronouncing it!) here in my canton Schaffhausen, Switzerland. I’ve seen many vineyards here in Switzerland, but not like this. I usually try to make my photos look as much as the real thing as possible, but here I felt this light tint was quite fitting for the photos/place. The photos of me are by my brother Robert and you can check out the rest of his Blauburgunderland photos here along with many other of his fantastic photos. I wore my favorite Free People dress and I attempted this hairstyle. When walking by the church I was wondering why, all of a sudden, I heard Star Wars music playing from within and then realized there was a classical music concert going on in the church. In the photos I look a bit sad, but I promise I wasn’t! Just a bit tired from having completed a vegan cheesecake (that was delicious) soon before! It’s still early so the grapes haven’t yet started to show and most of the vines are young and small. I imagine this place will look so green and full in a few months.

Hi, Eva!
Though I’m no doubt messing it up terribly, I AM having fun pronouncing Blauburgunderland! πŸ™‚

I want to live by those vineyards and at the end of a long, joyful, wine-drenched life be buried in that cemetery. πŸ™‚ What a beautiful, peaceful place!

You are as lovely on the outside as you are on the inside! I don’t know how you normally wear your hair, but I love that style you were trying out, it looks great on you! That last photo of you in particular, in that lovely light and with that gorgeous backdrop, is especially beautiful.

I’ve missed you and your blog and wish I had time to do more than just visit this one post, but I must dash off again! Though too brief, my visit’s been a wonderful pleasure, as always! xoxo
