July 27th is my favorite day of the year
It’s my birthday today! I was going to post a picture of my birthday cake, but for some reason… while my cakes taste delicious, they never really look all that beautiful. Ha! I’d gladly send each one of you a piece of cake, but I can only send my love and I’m sending loads. I hope you feel it!
Today was fabulous! I got two packages in the mail (they came early even though my friends thought they’d be late, the mail really delivered this year.. no pun intended) from a couple of my friends and guess what! Remember my purchases? Well, my friends got me those books! The Hunger Games trilogy and Sisterhood Everlasting. I can’t wait to start reading them!
My birthday would have been complete with just that (books are the absolute best gifts, in my opinion), but then I went to this really beautiful place called Bodensee and I’ll just have to show you all there is to show on another day (although there’s a glimpse of it up there) because right now, my friends, I am off to enjoy the last couple of hours of my birthday.
