Something you never did

When I first got here, I’d see this view from my window on most evenings. I’ve not seen it in ages as the weather has gotten colder and filled with clouds. At the moment, it’s hard to believe that this place had sunsets like this and is near sandy beaches.

This quote from an unknown source reminds me of Albert Einstein’s “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” I’ve even tested this with blog posts and noticed that the ones which are completely new and different from others usually get the most attention.

If something isn’t working out, no matter how persistent you are, perhaps it’s time to take a different approach. Try something new and different, even if only to experiment, and I hope you’ll be surprised by the results. Have a glorious weekend!

Hi, Eva! I haven’t been able to keep up with your blog and had lost track of where you are, but see that you’re in Bournemouth! Not a bad view from your window! I hope you’re enjoying school and being in England, but don’t blame you for counting down the days till you can return to Switzerland for the holidays and time with family. (Heck, I’ve never even been to Switzerland and I’d be counting down the days! lol I always wanted to live in England and spend Christmas in Switzerland!)

That’s a good quote and philosophy you shared. BW and I need to remember it as we try to figure out where we’re going to live (house-wise) after our lease on the cottage is up at the end of April.

I second this thinking. It also reminds me of Frost’s Road Less Traveled poem.

Happy seeing beautiful!
