What a child sees | a heartwarming video about children & animals
I watched this heartwarming, hope-inducing video yesterday and just had to share with all of you. Two minutes I wish the whole world could see. These children are so compassionate, it really filled my heart and the video, by Compassion Over Killing was so well made!

Thanks for watching, Amanda! I just wanted to say that, as long as you’re eating plenty of vegetables and eating healthy, there is no need to worry about getting enough protein – most people actually eat too much!

I loved watching this video! Thank you for sharing it Eva! I’m always fascinated how children see the world. They are so pure and loving towards any living being. They can teach adults a lot!

So sweet! I have to confess, we are not a vegan nor vegetarian family. We try not to eat beef, but we do still eat fish, chicken, turkey, or pork about 3 times per week. Right now that I am nursing an infant, we eat meat because it’s such a convenient, concentrated form of protein and to make sure I get enough protein from plants is daunting. It’s possible that will change once I wean my daughter, especially if my son (who ADORES animals) starts to realize that the chicken he sees running around at the farm is the same chicken that we eat. I don’t want to influence him too much either way, really. I think if he decides he no longer wants to eat meat, we will probably turn into a vegetarian family. Thanks for sharing that darling video!
