Keep moving forward

This is a quote by the extraordinary Martin Luther King, Jr. Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day so I felt it was only right that I posted a quote by him. He said so many inspiring and wonderful things in his life, that it was hard for me to choose just one to share with you. I’m a bit late in posting this and it’s already January 15th for me which means it’s Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday! The photo is one I took from my balcony a couple days ago on a foggy afternoon.
I hope you have an inspiring weekend!

Thank you all very much! I got up this morning and saw all of these comments and they’ve already made my day!
Mo – Yes, that is really the view from my balcony. It is always different. On a good, clear day I can even see the Alps (which happens quite often)! Living in Switzerland has many benefits such as this postcard view!

This brings to mind also Isaiah 40:30-31
(speaking of the Creator)
Even youths will faint and be weary and the young will fall exhausted;
but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings as eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint.”
–Thanks for the reminder to keep on keeping on. It is as if we “wait for the Lord” by being faithful in what we are doing and accepting what life is asking of us at the present moment. What a great image to post it with, too. Thanks Eva.
