Watch this video and enjoy nature!

I spotted this amazing video on elizabethtown‘s tumblr page a couple weeks ago. I loved it right away and knew I had to share it with as many people as possible. But first, I wanted to know more about the video. I contacted Lab, the makers of the video, with a few questions.

Lab is Luca Cattaneo, Alberto Filippini, and Alice Ninni and they are from Turin, Italy. They told me that they “deal with projects about graphic and web design, video and photography. With the composer Matteo Negrin, we decided to make a video for his song ‘Lacrime di Giulietta’, experimenting a new technique that we called ‘Music painting’, a sort of music animation, painting notes on a score, telling a story. We wanted to tell a story giving a civic and environmental message, in a soft and kind way.” [‘Lacrime di Giulietta’ means Tears for Juliet in English.]

It took them 15 hours to film and they got all of it in one take! After a lot of editing to get the timing and everything just right, they created this remarkable video. I’d love to hear your initial reactions toward this masterpiece!

Wow! This video was amazing!!! I just love how they were able to make the drawings go along with the music. The story behind it was really sad though ๐Ÿ™ It definitely gave a good meaning behind it, but its still really sad to think they we are destroying our environment. This really makes me want to start doing all that I can to help the environment out!! Thanks for sharing this video ๐Ÿ™‚
