11 reasons why you should drink more green tea

As you know, I love tea and I drink a cup of green tea every single morning. I saw this today and had to share it with you! I spotted this on Jolie Marie!’s tumblr which led me to thinmint’s tumblr. As far as I know, that is the original source because I couldn’t trace it any further back. It’s really hard to find the original source on tumblr sometimes. If you know for sure who the original poster is, please let me know and I’ll update this!

Thanks, Mo! I’m glad to hear you love green tea everything. Other than the actual tea, I haven’t had too many green tea flavored foods so I definitely need to keep an eye out for such things.

Ahhh! After reading this, I REALLY wish I could just sit and drink a cup of green tea!! I know it would help me with all the changes I’m wanting to make, but I just can’t get past the taste for some reason!!! I think I may go and find a different flavored tea (other than green tea) and try that for starters and hopefully work my way up to the green tea level!! If only I can find a kind of tea I actually like though!!

Misty – Definitely just try and find a fruit flavored tea of a fruit you absolutely love. Maybe you’d even prefer black tea with some sugar and lemon (what I’m currently drinking!).

Haha… I’m not sure I could describe it, Misty. It depends more on how you flavor it. My black tea tastes differently almost every time! But my favorite is lemon and sugar, that’s it!

Wow, I knew it was good for you but I didn’t know it was better at hydrating you than water. Why is that, do you think?

Meredith – I remember there was a lot of debate on that last one on Tumblr. I looked it up for you and this is what I found: “Drinking tea is actually better for you than drinking water. Water is essentially replacing fluid. Tea replaces fluids and contains antioxidants so it’s got two things going for it.” From: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/5281046.stm The article states that tea “rehydrates as well as water does”.
