Tea in the morning

I start every morning with a cup of green tea. I drink a variety of teas throughout the day, but I always make sure that my first tea of the day is green. Why green? There are many reasons. The most important being that green tea is one of the healthiest of all teas, if not the healthiest. All teas contain antioxidants; they help break down foods you’ve already consumed. Tea is mostly water so drinking it is a nice way to get the amount of healthy hydration that you need for the day. Look up the benefits of green tea online and you’ll find plenty of information about how green tea can help prevent cancer as well as physical aging. Not only can it avert aging, it can make you look better too. Drinking green tea can help in eliminating acne as well as make your skin look better overall. To get the most out of my green tea, I use tea leaves rather than bags and drink it without any addition of sweeteners.

Wow!! This really makes me want to try and drink tea now! I was never really a fan, but maybe, just MAYBE I could find one that I would like!! I knew tea was healthy for you, but I had NO idea all the things it does for someone! That is pretty awesome πŸ™‚

Do you have any recommendations as to what brand of green tea to drink?? Or even other kinds of tea would be awesome!

I’ve been trying to get you to drink tea for years now, Misty! It wasn’t all just because I’m a huge tea lover! I’m glad you were able to find out something new from my post.
As you know, I’m in Switzerland now, so I can’t really think of what teas will be available for you, but it really depends on personal preference. As I mentioned in my post, I always use tea leaves rather than bags to get the most out of my green tea. If you click on the last link in my post “The Secret Life of Green Tea”, you’ll be able to read about a variety of different green teas.
Since you’re not a big tea drinker, I suggest maybe starting out with a fruit flavored tea. Just go to the tea section in the grocery store and pick a tea that has the kind of flavor you like best. I especially love raspberry tea! They even make mint green tea and orange green tea (those are just a couple I have in my home right now). There are so many different tea flavors, you can never get bored!

Well, I’m sitting here at my dining room table looking through your blog, and guess what! I am drinking tea πŸ™‚ Its not terrible, but I don’t think its going to be my favorite drink either. It could also be the flavor I got as well. Its a citrus and honey green tea. I meant to grab plain citrus (because I KNOW I don’t like honey tea) and then I went to open the box and I saw it was honey and citrus….but thats ok! I think its something I am going to have to get used to drinking. I’m glad I finally listened to you though πŸ™‚ This is going to help me start the “new me!” And you’re definitely helping πŸ™‚

I am SO happy that you’re giving tea a try! No worries, tea isn’t even my favorite drink; water is. There are plenty of teas I take a sip of and would rather never drink again. Make sure to always read labels, Misty! I really hope you have better luck next time with your flavor choice. I’m really pleased that my blog is helping you! Thank you for commenting and letting me know how your first tea experience went!
