Life tip #5: Drink more water

I had to get a glass of water before stating this post. Luckily, water is my favorite drink. It’s fresh, healthy, and nothing is quite as satisfying after an exhilarating exercise. I make sure to keep a glass of water next to my bed every night and often times find myself reaching for it in the middle of the night. I’m always surprised when someone tells me they don’t like the taste of water. Our bodies are made up mostly of water, it’s one of the healthiest drinks in the world, and water is in just about everything (drinks, food, plants, etc). I’m having a hard time thinking of anything that is not in some way touched by water. Yes, water is in every drink, but most of those drinks also have sweeteners and artificial flavors that do more harm than good. Drinking water helps you lose weight,Β fight off illness, and so much more goodness! On days that I drink more water, my body feels so much better.Β The next time you grab a drink, I suggest making it water. I just ask that you please do not drink water from plastic bottles unless you absolutely have to (e.g. you don’t have tap water available where you can just add a filter).

There’s nothing like a glass of H2O.

Eva, this is such a good reminder — and I need it to as I have three of my Nalgene water bottles in front of me, all empty. Sometimes I focus so much on my work, I forget about simple things like drinking enough water.

This is something I definitely need to get better at, because I’ve been drinking WAY too much soda lately. Thanks for the reminder πŸ™‚

It just so happens that I gave up diet soda last year and switched to water! πŸ˜€ I feel so much better now. No more aspartame!
I drink nothing but natural stuff now (a cup of fruit juice when I get up, and water the rest of the day), and I’m feelin’ good. πŸ™‚

Water is good for you! I am so glad that I stopped drinking soda back in November! Its been a little over 4 months since my last soda! And all I drink now is water. It does make you feel better and it definitely does help you lose weight (if only that reflected for me though lol). This is a great tip and I already know for a fact I can follow this one πŸ™‚ I have even stopped buying bottled water and drinking for a regular bottle that I take to work with me! So I don’t use the plastic anymore either πŸ™‚
